Alert Process

  1. Clinician member of staff sends request to CES
  2. Librarian receives question and seeks clarification if necessary
  3. Librarian analyses terms- looks for synonyms, general classifications and MeSH terms- then devises a search strategy
  4. Librarian searches relevant databases: Medline, Embase etc.
  5. Librarian sets up the system to send a regular email of the latest articles from that search
